How to use the Medicaid Planning Navigator

To submit a question to the Medicaid Planning Navigator, please follow the 3 easy- to- use steps.

(please read the below guidelines BEFORE making a submission.)


*Step 1: Provide Your State and Category*

Write the state you are inquiring about and select one of the categories (e.g., long-term care Medicaid, Elder Law, etc.).

*Step 2: Submit Your Inquiry*

Submit your inquiry with 350 words or less related to the selected category.

*Step 3: Review and Payment*

We will review your submission. If we can provide an answer, you will receive an invoice of $125. Once you pay the invoice, you will receive the response to your submission within 24-48 hours.

Do not send any sensitive personal information, not limited to, i.e., names, addresses, phone numbers, date of births, social security numbers, account numbers, and specific medical information, etc.


All requests with any sensitive information will be rejected.

To ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the Medicaid Planning Navigator, please read the following BEFORE submitting a question. If you're unsure whether we can answer your questions, please contact us.

Acceptable Inquiries:

3. Questions about long-term care options and home and community-based services;

4. Clarification on Medicaid regulations and policies;

Unacceptable Inquiries: 

1. Complex legal or financial advice requiring in-depth analysis or document review;

2. Specific medical advice or diagnosis;

3. In-depth tax planning or advice;

4. Investment or financial product recommendations;

5. Real estate or property transactions (beyond basic Medicaid implications);

6. Detailed business planning or advice;

7. Inquiries requiring ongoing legal representation or advocacy;

8. Questions outside the scope of Medicaid planning and eligibility;

9. Sensitive personal information not limited to, i.e., names, addresses, phone numbers, date of births, social security numbers, account numbers, specific medical history, etc. is prohibited.


Additional Guidelines:

1. Inquiries/Questions should be concise and specific, allowing for clear and efficient responses.

2. You may be asked to provide additional context or information to ensure accurate responses.

3. The Medicaid Planning Navigator reserves the right to redirect or decline questions that fall outside the established parameters or require excessive time and resources.

4. Inquiries/Questions may be edited for clarity and conciseness before being answered.

5. Responses will be provided in a timely manner, typically within 24-48 hours.
